Install steps
- Download the LumbrCAD .dmg from this page.
- Open the DMG from Downloads (or the folder your browser saved it to).
- Drag LumbrCAD.app to the Applications folder shortcut in the disk image.
- Eject the LumbrCAD disk image.
- Launch LumbrCAD from Applications. On first launch you may need to right-click → Open, or allow it under System Settings → Privacy & Security.
Alpha terms / disclaimer
This is alpha software. It may contain defects, lose unsaved work, or change file behavior before release. Use it only with test drawings or backed-up project files. LumbrCAD alpha is provided as-is, without warranty, and is not an App Store or TestFlight build.
Privacy policy
LumbrCAD does not require an account for alpha use and does not upload drawing files. Update checks and downloads request release metadata and DMG assets over HTTPS from updates.lumbrcad.com (Vercel Blob). Those requests may create standard server logs such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp. Do not include private project data in feedback attachments.

Send alpha feedback through Oaken Digital contact. Include “LumbrCAD alpha feedback” with your macOS version, LumbrCAD version, steps to reproduce, and screenshots if useful.
Already installed?
Use Settings → Check for Updates inside LumbrCAD. The app reads the manifest at https://updates.lumbrcad.com/appcast.json.
